The present invention provides a coil component and a board for mounting the same. The coil component includes: a magnetic main body including first and second coil units disposed on one surface of a substrate having two cores and third and fourth coil units disposed on the other surface of the substrate; a connection part disposed to penetrate the two cores inside the magnetic main body to connect the two cores; and first to fourth external electrodes disposed on an outer circumferential face of the magnetic main body and connected to the first to fourth coil units, thereby obtaining a large coupling coefficient and large leakage inductance.
