PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method where a zinc sulfate-containing solution in a zinc sulfate zinc concentrate is treated with a zinc sulfate-containing solution, and at least one of rare metals such as indium, gallium and germanium is separated therefrom.SOLUTION: Provided is a treatment method where a part of metal to be separated is precipitated from a zinc sulfate solution by the neutralization of an acid solution, at least a part is further subjected to reduction precipitation using zinc powder by cementation, the formed respective solid precipitates are mixed, and thereafter, the mixture is treated and separated by any suitable method of leaching metals such as copper, germanium, indium and gallium.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
