The invention relates to the polymer industry. The technical result of the invention consists in increasing the productivity, reliability and operational effectiveness of a device. A device for filtering a plastic melt contains: a housing with an input drainage channel, an output drainage channel and inner drainage channels, the outer surface of which housing is provided with heating elements; mounted in the housing, a filtration unit which communicates with the housing channels; a drainage cylinder containing support elements on the outer surface thereof; and a replaceable filtration element in the form of a woven steel mesh which is stretched around a support grid. The housing is in the form of a pass-through cylinder. The filtration unit is in the form of a cartridge consisting of a replaceable filtration element, a support grid and a drainage cylinder which is connected to a head of the cartridge and to an end piston of the cartridge. Sealing elements of the cartridge are affixed to the end piston and to the head. The head is in the form of a steel cylinder configured in the form of two consecutively-arranged paired pistons. In the body of the piston which abuts the drainage cylinder, through-holes are provided in a circle. All of the elements of the cartridge, except for the filtration and sealing elements, are collected into a single unit which cannot be disassembled. A low-pressure chamber is located in a space which is delimited by the head and by the inner surface of the housing. The end piston is in the form of a metal disk configured in such a way that the cartridge can be repeatedly removed from and inserted into the housing. When the cartridge is removed, the head does not leave the boundaries of the housing. |
