A flat-panel display device, comprising a backplate (20) and a display panel (11) assembled with the backplate (20); the edge of the backplate (20) is configured to be a retaining wall (22) perpendicular to a backplate body (21); the inner wall of the retaining wall (22) is provided with a step groove (24) thereon for bearing the display panel (11); a receiving space (25) is formed between the display panel (11) and the backplate body (21); the step groove (24) extends from an outer end portion (23) of the retaining wall (22) toward the backplate body (21), and the depth of the step groove (24) is consistent with the thickness of the display panel (11). The backplate (20) is a plastic plate comprising a reinforcement body. The flat-panel display device is designed to be very light, slim and frame-less, and is suitable to be manufactured as an integrated device. |
