A sealing material for solar cells, which is obtained by laminating at least three layers including two outermost layers having a volume resistivity of from 1.0 × 1015 Ω·cm to 1.0 × 1018 Ω·cm (inclusive) and an intermediate layer arranged between the two outermost layers and having a volume resistivity of 1.0 × 1011 Ω·cm or more but less than 1.0 × 1015 Ω·cm.
