The invention relates to a facility (1) for producing water by moving air mass vertically which, according to the invention, is characterized in that it includes: a structure (2) in the form of a vertical tower of at least 2000 meters in height; at least one vertical channel (3) that is supported by said structure (2) and is provided with a lower end (4) and an upper end (5) that is located at a height of at least 2000 meters; and means in the form of fan devices (6) for sampling, in the atmosphere, air located outside said channel (3) on the bottom end (4) thereof, with a view to creating an ascending air flow; and condensation means in the form of a wall or walls made of good heat-conductive material and located at a height of 2000 to 3000 meters such as to take advantage of the low temperatures from said altitude and enable natural condensation to start; and means for recovering the water produced and channeling same to the ground.
