The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an electrode assembly, the electrode assembly manufactured thereby, and an electrochemical device including the same and, more specifically, to a method for manufacturing an electrode assembly which comprises the following steps: arranging an uniplanar first polar current collector; preparing a first polar electrode by forming a first polar active material layer on at least one side of the first polar current collector; primarily drying the first polar electrode; preparing a membrane electrode conjugate by forming a separator on at least one side of the first polar electrode; preparing an electrode assembly by forming a second polar electrode comprising a second polar active material layer and a second polar current collector on an upper side of the separator of the membrane electrode conjugate; and secondarily drying the electrode assembly, wherein each step is continuously carried out while being moved by a conveyor, and to the electrode assembly manufactured by the method, and to an electrochemical device including the same. According to the present invention, the respective steps for manufacturing the electrode assembly are carried out integrally and continuously in the conveyor system, thereby being able to efficiently manufacture the electrode assembly, and a cathode and an anode are prevented from coming into contact with each other by positioning a pattern frame including an inner open side and then forming the same exactly in the desired area when the first polar active material layer is formed or the separator is formed, or the second electrode assembly is formed, and therefore a short circuit of both electrodes can be prevented. |
