The present invention relates to a method for forming a shoulder strip by hand knitting. The purpose of the present invention is to prevent a shoulder portion, connecting an front side to a back side from sagging and to prevent a horizontal joining portion between the front side and the back side from being exposed to the outside. The method for connecting shoulder portions to each other after making the front side and the back side by hand knitting include the following steps: (a) (S10) forming a reference line (30) in a horizontal direction by connecting the shoulder portions of the front side (10) and the back side (20) to each other by purl stitches; (b) (S20) picking shoulder loops of the shoulder portion in a second row on one side from the reference line (30); (c) (S30) forming a body of a shoulder strip (40) with three rows, one row less than the number of actual rows of the front side (10) and the back side (20) hidden by the shoulder strip (40) by making knit stitches from the shoulder loops on one side; (d) (S40) picking shoulder loops in a second row on the other side from the reference line (30); and (e) (S50) connecting the shoulder loops on the other side to an end portion of the shoulder strip (40) by using a thread and a needle. |
