An X-ray imaging device provided with photon-counting X-ray detector elements, wherein, in order to accurately correct counts that are differentiated in pile-up, the X-ray imaging device is equipped with an X-ray detector in which there are arranged a plurality of photon-counting X-ray detector elements for detecting incident X-rays and performing counts sorted into two or more energy ranges, and a correction unit for correcting the counts of the X-ray detector elements. The correction unit has a miscount rate determination unit that, on the basis of the probability that pile-up by two or more X-ray photons will occur, determines the rate of miscounted counts due to pile-up. |
