PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for gasification capable of treating a feed material having various form structures that cannot be treated surly and efficiently, divided compositions, and an increased humidity amount in a down flow process of a conventionally known method.SOLUTION: A down flow gasification apparatus comprises: an elongated external container 1; an elongated internal container 2 disposed in the external container 1 thereby forming a cavity between the internal container 2 and the external container 1; a loading mechanism 7 including an elongated loading mechanism trunk 4, and a feed material-feeding device 36 for transferring a feed material along the elongated loading mechanism trunk 4; a gasifier trunk 8 having an inner surface and an outer surface; a combustion chamber 3; a gas outlet 13; and a slug-discharging mechanism 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
