PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide comprehensive devices for delivering energy to tissue for a wide variety of applications, including various medical procedures (e.g., tissue ablation, resection, cautery, vascular thrombosis, treatment of cardiac arrhythmias and dysrhythmias, electrosurgery, tissue harvest, etc.).SOLUTION: At least one stick region (160) is disposed within a central region and/or proximal region in order to stabilize an ablation device (100) in a desired position with respect to a target tissue during ablation, the stick region (160) is configured to attain and maintain a temperature causing freezing of the tissue to facilitate adhering of the tissue to the stick region (160), and a sealing part positioned between the stick region (160) and the distal region is provided in the ablation device (100) for preventing exposure of the stick region (160) to the distal region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 29 |
