摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating device for an active material slurry, capable of effectively orienting carbon fibers so that a fiber axial direction of a carbon fiber is in parallel to the thickness direction of a coated part of an active material slurry.SOLUTION: A coating device 20 for an active material slurry coats an active material slurry 19 on a long metal foil 11a, the active material slurry including an active material, carbon nanotubes as a conductive auxiliary agent, a binder and a solvent. The coating device 20 includes a container 23 for receiving the active material slurry 19 and an electrostatic field generator 33. The electrostatic field generator 33 includes: a pair of electrostatic field generating electrodes 24 sandwiching the long metal foil 11a immersed in the active material slurry 19 in the container 23, from the thickness direction of the metal foil; and a power source 26 connected to the electrostatic field generating electrodes 24. The electrostatic field generator 33 generates an electrostatic field in the thickness direction of the long metal foil 11a in the active material slurry 19.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
