The present invention relates to a foldable desk in which a chair and a desk can be completely superposed and folded for the purpose of space utilization, and which even allows a desk top to be moved back and forth to match a user's physique. A frame (50) of a desk top (10) is rotatably connected to a desk top support frame (60) through a connection rod (13). In a state in which the desk top (10) is positioned at the correct position to function as a desk, the desk top support frame (60) is bent at a right angle, and a first upper edge (62) of the desk top support frame, having a length longer than the thickness of the desk top, and a first upper edge (32) of a connection frame (30) simultaneously support the underside of the desk top (10). The connection rod (13) is shorter than the length of a second upper edge (64) of the desk top support frame (60) connected thereto so that the desk top (10) is slidable to the side of the first upper edge (62) of the desk top support frame. The desk top (10) can be folded downward at a right angle in a state in which the desk top is slid aside in such a way. When a chair seat (40) is positioned at the correct position to function as a chair, the underside of the chair seat is supported by a support (35) protruding inwardly from a second upper edge (34) which is lower than the first upper edge (32) of the connection frame (30). The chair seat (40) can be completely folded upward to thus be superposed with a backrest (20). In a state in which the chair seat (40) is folded upward, a backrest support frame (70) can be folded at a right angle so as to be superposed with the connection frame (30). In such a folded state, the protruding support (35) is positioned between first and second legs (72, 74) of the backrest support frame. |
