In the present invention, disclosed are a method and an apparatus for controlling the power of load equipment of a ship. In the present invention, after various kinds of load equipment installed in the ship is classified into essential elements, specific elements, and selective elements, power of a generator is controlled to be continuously supplied to the essential elements when the ship sails, and the power of the generator is supplied to or cut off with respect to the selective elements in accordance with a ship sailing state or a situation of power supply to the specific elements. Accordingly, power consumption of load equipment due to simultaneous operation during the sailing of the ship is reduced and the amount of used fuel at the time of sailing of the ship is reduced while selectively performing operations of multiple generators, maintenance costs of the generators are reduced. |
