PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to synthesize a titanium oxide nanotube from mixture of sodium hydroxide aqueous solution being strong alkaline aqueous solution and titanium oxide without equipping the entire metal heating and pressurizing container with chemical resistance.SOLUTION: A titanium oxide nanotube can be synthesized by pouring mixture containing titanium oxide and sodium hydroxide aqueous solution into a housing container a part of which is open and heating and pressurizing the mixture in the state where water is poured into a heating and pressurizing container. At this point, because vapor pressure keeps the sodium hydroxide aqueous solution in a liquid phase, the titanium oxide nanotube can be synthesized without performing alkaline treatment to the inside of the heating and pressurizing container.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
