PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain luminance appropriate for an observer who sees a screen onto which projection from a projector device is performed.SOLUTION: A projector device includes: a light source that generates light; projection means that converts light from the light source into an image for projection on the basis of an image signal from a server and projects the image onto a screen; distance measurement means that measures the size of a room in which the screen is installed; person number distribution measurement means that measures the number and distribution of observers who see the screen; and adjustment means that refers to room scale information detected by the distance measurement means and number and distribution information detected by the person number distribution means and adjusts luminance of the light source so as to be optimal luminance for the observers.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
