PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a delay time from imaging to displaying.SOLUTION: An imaging device comprises: an imaging unit including plural imaging elements which pick up an image of a subject and output an image pickup signal; a display including plural display areas corresponding to the plural imaging elements; an image signal generating unit which generates a partial image signal indicating an image to be displayed by each line in each display area, on the basis of an image pickup signal outputted from each imaging element, and outputs to the display an image signal which comprises plural partial image signals and indicates an image to be displayed by each line in the display; and a timing control unit which so controls the image signal generating unit as to output an image signal indicating an image to be displayed by a display object line in the case that a line corresponding to an image signal, of which output to the display is completed, indicates a line which precedes a display object line and indicates an image, and a line finally indicating an image, among lines corresponding to the partial image signals which are generated by the image signal generating unit indicates a line which displays an image after the display object line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
