An in-wheel motor drive device (21) wherein a deceleration unit (B) is equipped with: a decelerator input shaft (25) that has eccentric parts (25a, 25b) and is rotationally driven by a motor unit (A); curve plates (26a, 26b) rotatably held on the outer peripheries of the eccentric parts (25a, 25b) via rolling bearings (40); and a motion conversion mechanism that converts the revolving motion produced by the curve plates (26a, 26) during orbital motion into rotational motion of a decelerator output shaft (28). The rolling bearings (40) have cylindrical rollers (44) and annular flange parts (46, 46) adjacently arranged on the outside of the cylindrical rollers (44) in the axial direction. In addition, the end surfaces (44a) of the cylindrical rollers (44) or the end surfaces (46a) of the flange parts (46), which oppose one another in the axial direction, have a surface roughness (Ra) of 0.25 μm or less. |
