The invention relates to a method for producing a device (1) for measuring the flow of a fluid flowing through a measuring tube (3) made of metal using the magnetic-inductive principle, having the following method steps: - a first and a second collar (11, 11') made of metal are secured to the measuring tube (3) from the exterior region so as to be aligned perpendicularly to the tube axis of the measuring tube (3), - the interior region of the measuring tube (3) is lined with an electrically nonconductive elastic liner (4), - a measuring section (3b) of the measuring tube (3), said section being located at least partly between the first (11) and the second collar (11'), is changed by means of a cold-working process such that the cross-sectional area of the measuring section (3b) is reduced compared to the cross-sectional area of a measuring tube (3) inflow section (3a) located upstream of the measuring section and a measuring tube (3) outflow section (3c) which adjoins the measuring section (3b). |
