PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server device capable of preventing synthetic voice from being missed.SOLUTION: A server device for communicating with a provider device and a client device includes: a voice synthesis unit that receives text content and genre information on the text content from the provider device, and generates the synthesis voice of the text content using voice synthesis data corresponding to the genre information; an introduction voice acquisition unit that acquires introduction voice corresponding to the genre information; a voice coupling unit that generates voice context by coupling the introduction voice and the synthesis voice; and a selected content transmission unit that selects any from voice contents or any from text contents in accordance with a prescribed criterion, and transmits selected voice content, voice content generated on the basis of the selected voice content or selected text content, to the client device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
