PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide SiC-dispersed oil for metal working maintaining dispersibility of SiC fine powder at good condition over long periods of time.SOLUTION: The SiC-dispersed oil for metal working is provided that is obtained by blending SiC fine powder with mineral oil and/or synthetic oil as base oil. The SiC-dispersed oil is prepared in such a way that i) the SiC-dispersed oil contains as an inorganic dispersant, two or more kind selected from a group consisting of organic sepiolite, organic bentonite and hydrophobic silica with a percentage of 0.5 to 20 wt.%, and one kind selected as the inorganic dispersant occupies the percentage of 20 to 80 wt.% of the total amount of the inorganic dispersant, ii) the SiC-dispersed oil contains as a nonionic surfactant, an ester compound of a polyvalent alcohol alkylene oxide adduct and aliphatic acid or an alkylene oxide adduct of polyvalent alcohol aliphatic acid ester with percentage of 0.5 to 10 wt.%.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
