PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated metal plate and an exterior building material having intended designability with modified glossiness and excellent flatness part corrosion resistance similar to or more than that of a coated metal plate containing a chromate rustproof treated metal plate even with chromate free.SOLUTION: There is provided a coated metal plate for exterior having at least one top coating coated film on a metal plate, and the top coating coated film contains a glossiness modifier which is formed of particles of 0.01 to 15 vol.% and a fibrous matting agent. The glossiness modifier and the matting agent have sizes with specific conditions including a condition related to film thickness of the top coating coated film.SELECTED DRAWING: None
