PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headlamp for a vehicle which clearly forms a cut off line of a light distribution pattern while improving the utilization efficiency of light radiated from semiconductor light emitting elements.SOLUTION: The headlamp for a vehicle includes: semiconductor light emitting element chips 43; and a reflector 45 which has a reflection surface 45a and reflects light emitted from the semiconductor light emitting element chips 43 with the reflection surface 45a to radiate the light to the vehicle front side. The semiconductor light emitting element chips 43 are disposed side-by-side in a crosswise direction of a vehicle. The adjacent semiconductor light emitting element chips 43 may turn on/off lights independently of each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
