OPENING/CLOSING VALVE STRUCTURE

An opening/closing valve structure for an engine is provided with: a valve body for opening and closing the intake passage or the exhaust passage of the engine; a pair of bush members mounted at the opposite axial ends of the valve body; and a shaft member axially passing through the inside of one of the bush members and protruding, within the valve body at one end thereof, a predetermined length from the bush member. Each of the bush members is mounted so that a part of the bush member is axially fitted in an end of the valve body and the remaining part axially protrudes from the end of the valve body. The portion of the shaft member, which protrudes from the one of the bush members, is joined to the valve body so as to be relatively immovable in the rotational direction.
