A power conversion device according to the present embodiment converts power from a power source and supplies the power to a load. A power conversion unit converts the power from the power source. A filter capacitor unit removes noise from the power in the power conversion unit. A casing houses a power unit comprising the filter capacitor unit and the power conversion unit placed on top of the filter capacitor unit. The casing is configured such that the power unit can be inserted and removed from the upper surface and a side surface. Guide rails are provided on the base surface of the casing, extending in the direction substantially perpendicular to the side surfaces, and guiding the power unit when the power unit is inserted and removed from a side surface of the casing. Protruding parts are provided facing upward on the filter capacitor unit so as to fit into holes or recesses formed on the power conversion unit, thereby guiding the power conversion unit when the power conversion unit is inserted into or removed from the upper surface of the casing. |
