PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a receiver and a transmitter to generate appropriate feedback information corresponding to a relevant reporting mode among various reporting modes, and to efficiently feed back the information.SOLUTION: A receiver: estimates a channel from a transmitter to the receiver 210; generates a rank specifier RI to specify the number of selected ranks 220; generates a PMI to specify a selected precoding matrix using a pre-stored codebook on the basis of the RI 230; generates channel quality information on the basis of the RI and PMI 240; and feeds back the generated RI, PMI and CQI on a PUSCH or PUCCH 250.
