PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide flavor components for use in oral care compositions containing a metal salt, to provide compositions containing the flavor components, and to provide methods of producing and using thereof.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a flavor component for use in oral care compositions containing a metal salt which is zinc citrate. The flavor component comprises a taste-masking agent containing cinnamaldehyde, eugenol, and eucalyptol, as well as one or more kinds of flavoring agents selected from L-menthol, N-ethyl-p-menthane-3-carboxamide, anethole, peppermint oil, spearmint oil, and corn mint oil, or two or more kinds of combinations thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
