PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recorder which includes a high-density, small emission head and is less liable to cause damage or the like of the emission head even when the recorder is placed in a low-temperature environment.SOLUTION: An emission head 101 comprises: a plurality of pressure chambers 20 communicating with a plurality of nozzle holes 127 formed in a nozzle plate; a vibration plate 30 that changes the capacity of each of the pressure chambers; and an ink supply chamber 40 that supplies ink to the plurality of pressure chambers. The capacity of each pressure chamber is 10.0×10μmor less. The density of nozzle holes arrayed in the nozzle plate is equal to or higher than 200 dpi. The ink contains a pigment, water, an organic solvent, and a resin component. The ratio of the mass of the organic solvent to the mass of the water in the ink (the organic solvent/the water) is equal to or higher than 0.2 but equal to or lower than 0.5. The solid content of the resin component in the ink is 1.5 mass % or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
