PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxial hinge capable of opening and closing a first housing and a second housing of a terminal device such as a notebook personal computer in a stable stop state at an arbitrary opening/closing angle with regularity from 0 degree to 360 degrees.SOLUTION: A biaxial hinge is provided with: a first hinge shaft 10 and a second hinge shaft 12 connected by a connecting member 20 in a parallel state to be rotatable to each other; and selective rotation restricting means composed of a connecting member disposed in opposition to a slide member rotatably inserted between the first hinge shaft and the second hinge shaft, and a lock member 21 slidably disposed between a first lock cam member 23 and a second lock cam member 23 disposed between the connecting member and the slide member rotatably together with the first hinge shaft and the second hinge shaft in a state that rotations are restrained by the first hinge shaft and the second hinge shaft, so that when the rotation of one of the first and second lock cam members is permitted, the rotation of the another is locked. |
