The apparatus for making metal cages (2) for conical pillars, the cages being made by a series of longitudinal bars (3), arranged according to a predetermined circular geometrical shape about a longitudinal axis (A), and fixed through the fixing of at least one metal wire (4), wound in spiral on the same bars (3) through the combination of a rotation motion about an axis coinciding with the longitudinal axis (A) of the cage (2) being manufactured and a shifting motion, comprises a first support head (10) suitable to support respective further portions of the bars (3), a second support head (20) suitable to support respective further portions of the bars (3), a radial handling unit (30), suitable to carry out the controlled radial displacement of the supported bars (3), so as to allow the progressive positioning of the bars (3) according to a shape convergent towards the longitudinal axis (A) and therefore the manufacturing of the conical metal cage. |
