A trap monitoring the presence of insects is a closed box made of a transparent material, said box comprising a lower part (1) and an upper part (2) connected tightly one with another, said upper part comprising a chamber (3) with an attractant pill, and the lower part (1) has openings (6) located at the bottom of the trap, said openings being connected with input channels (7) created at the bottom of the trap. A line made of glue (5) is laid onto the bottom of the lower part in order to catch insects. The trap is used for monitoring the presence of insects, particularly confused flour beetles (Tribolium confusum) and red flour beetles (Tribolium castaneum). |
