A waterproof enclosure assembly includes a first element 12 for at least partial insertion into the ground 14, and an electrical enclosure 16 that can be releasably attached to the first element to hold the electrical enclosure spaced above the ground. The electrical enclosure can be arranged to receive electrical conductors 18, 20 to allow termination or connection to further electrical conductors 24, 26 entering the electrical enclosure to power local electrical items such as a spike light 28 or water pump 30. Portion 42 of the first element may engage channel 32 on the electrical enclosure. Cables may enter the electrical enclosure through the base and/or have sealing to exclude moisture. |
