<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window opening shielding structure having louver members which shield a window opening and are formed to be in vertically elongated shapes and capable of performing opening/closing operation of the louver members and that of a lace curtain at the same time. <P>SOLUTION: A window opening shielding structure includes: a curtain rail 11 disposed in an indoor upper end part of a window opening; a plurality of flat and vertically long S-shaped hook members disposed so as to be movable along the lengthwise direction of the curtain rail 11 and rotatable in the horizontal direction; and louver members 13 each suspended by each of the hook members 50 and consisting of a curtain fabric partly shielding the window opening and formed in a vertically elongated shape.
