<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing cells or microorganisms having high arachidonic acid AA phospholipid content per cell or culture liquid in a state to enable easy separation of the produced cells or microorganisms from the culture liquid, and to provide a method for producing the AA phospholipid from the cells or microorganisms produced by the method. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided the method for producing the microorganism having a filamentous form comprising inoculation of the microorganism having the filamentous form to a medium containing a nitrogen source and prepared without adding a carbon source, and culture of the medium inoculated with the microorganism to form a mat mycelium; and the method for producing the arachidonic acid phospholipid comprising production of the mat mycelium by the above method and separation of the arachidonic acid phospholipid from the produced mat mycelium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
