The present invention relates to a messaging service providing method for providing a speech bubble effect, to a recording medium having a program therefor recorded therein and to a user terminal, wherein an emotion effect or an event effect can be provided by using a speech bubble where a message exchanged between two or more users is recorded. If a speech bubble effect is selected and designated with respect to a written message or an already displayed message, the speech bubble effect of modifying a speech bubble having the message written thereon or together outputting an effect using the speech bubble is provided when the message is displayed. The user terminal comprises: a communication part for transmitting and receiving one or more messages; a display part for outputting the one or more messages; and a control part for generating a speech bubble effect to visually provide an emotion effect. |
