PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boundary block capable of reducing the cost of cleaning before laying work as well as the cost of entire laying work, and capable of keeping not only its external appearance but also the traffic of persons and cars in an excellent state for a long time after it is laid.SOLUTION: Engaging parts 8a, 8b (concavity P1, protrusion P2) maintaining a positional relation with a road at a constant level by the entering of a part of a pavement structure of the road and engaging with the engaging parts are provided in an extrusion piece 6 formed by protruding a part of a block body 4 toward the road. In a boundary block 2 before it is laid, foreign matters (for example, water, dust, etc.) attached to surfaces (for example, a surface 4s of the block body 4, a surface 6s of each extrusion piece 6) can be collected along the concavity P1 to be removed. In the boundary block 2 after it is laid, because a part of the pavement structure of the road gets over the protrusion P2 and enters and engages with the concavity P1, the road and the boundary block 2 can be maintained adjacent to each other without clearance therebetween. |
