Back-rest structure for vehicle seat comprising a U-shaped reinforcement frame made of a metal sheet, with an also U-shaped section, and a plastic ring fitted in the reinforcement frame and joined by first joining means, where contacting sections are defined comprising contacting areas in which an adjusting arrangement is established of the reinforcement frame and ring that prevents the relative motion of the ring with respect to the reinforcement frame in the directions perpendicular to said contacting areas, which enables transmission of loads between the two elements. In this way, the two elements behave as a single body, as regards their mechanical behaviour, making the seat back-rest structure a structure that can withstand the loads to which the back-rest is subjected in the direction x of the vehicle. |
