A receiving device in a beam space multi-input multi-output (MIMO) system sequentially generates a beam corresponding to an overall beam base pattern during one corresponding symbol section to perform overall beam scanning and communications, when a set event occurs; and performs effective beam communications by reducing the number of beam base patterns used for the communications based on a result of the overall beam scanning and communications during the remaining symbol section excluding the symbol section for performing the overall beam scanning and communications. |
