<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire protection construction of a shutter apparatus that prevents a lower frame from melting down without altering conventional constitution members, and has higher fire resistance efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A fire protection construction of a shutter apparatus 11 includes a pair of steel-made side part brackets 29 provided above a building opening part 15 and fixed to a building skeleton 25; a storage part 19 which has a front opening 51, surrounded with a pair of side part decorative plates 39 provided outside the side part brackets 29 respectively and an aluminum alloy top plate 41, closed with a steel-made front plate 53 by fixing both ends of the top plate 41 to a pair of side part decorative plates 39; and a steel-made fire-resistive reinforcement plate 69 having a front edge 73 fixed to the front plate 53 while having a rear edge 71 fixed to the skeleton body 25 by being covered with the top plate 41 below the top plate 41.
