A cycle pannier rack comprises a bifurcated structure 1 and a top strut 2. The bifurcated structure may be pivotally connected to the top strut which may be adjustable in length. Quick release connectors may be used to connect the top strut to the seat post via a threaded clamp (Figs 9 and 10). Lower parts of the bifurcated structure may be located on projections that are co axial with the rear wheel (Fig 4) where an open fork locates about a projection (Fig 3, items 6 and 13) and may be clamped in position by further quick release means which may be over centre clamps (Fig 8). Projections on the bifurcated members (Fig 20, item 44) may be provided to allow a substantially U shaped member to locate panniers or the like thereon. Alternative engagement means are shown on figures 17 and 19. Panniers may be provided with a fully adjustable locating means (Figures 11 and 12). |
