<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump type water heater capable of accurately determining that abnormal rise of a high pressure is due to aeration and operating a water pump only when it is needed to discharge air. <P>SOLUTION: The heat pump type water heater 1 includes a heat pump 2 for which a compressor 4, a refrigerant/water heat exchanger 5, a pressure reduction unit 6 and an evaporator 7 are connected in the order to constitute a refrigerant circulation circuit 9, and a water pump 12 and a water circulation path 11 for circulating water to the side of a water distribution path 5B of the refrigerant/water heat exchanger 5 of the heat pump 2. The heat pump type water heater 1 is provided with a control part 14 for determining presence/absence of the aeration to the water circulation path 11 on the basis of a refrigerant temperature and a water temperature in the refrigerant/water heat exchanger 5 when a high pressure detector 15 of the heat pump 2 detects the high pressure abnormal rise, and continuing the operation of the water pump 12 to discharge the air only when it is determined that air is mixed in. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
