PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a display device with a touch detection function, in which uniformity of detection sensitivity to touch can be increased.SOLUTION: The display device includes: a display function layer (liquid crystal layer 6); a plurality of touch detection electrodes TDL arranged in parallel to one another extending in a first direction; and a plurality of drive electrodes (a common electrode COML) arranged in parallel to one another extending in a second direction intersecting the first direction so as to form an electrostatic capacitance in an intersection with the plurality of touch detection electrodes. The plurality of drive electrodes extend out of an effective display region in the second direction, while the touch detection electrodes extend out of the effective display region only in the first direction. |
