The method involves determining a desired tool load of a packaging line (60) necessary for composition of articles. An actual tool load of the line is compared to the determined load. Tools (100, 100u-100y) to be supplied for the desired load and tools to be removed from the line are determined based on the comparison. The determined tools necessary for retrofitting are removed from a bearing and transported to the line. The tools are replaced for supply of the determined desired tool load. The tools are backhauled from the line, and the backhauled tools are stored in the bearing. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program for operating a packaging and storage system (2) a packaging and storage system for combining and packing and/or repacking articles. |
