The present invention relates to an apparatus (1) for measuring moisture parameters of a porous material, the apparatus comprising a hanger (11) for a test specimen, whereby the hanger is mounted on an electronic balance (5). A cistern (14) with water (15) is arranged above the test specimen, below the hanger wherein above the cistern (14), there are arranged below the hanger stationary waveguides (8, 8a) of microwave radiation, whereby a radiation source (7), connected to a voltage source and performed as a Gunn diode is disposed on one waveguide (8) at the edge thereof. A transmitting antenna (9) is arranged in front of the radiation source (7) on the transmission waveguide while on the other, receiving waveguide (8a), there is arranged a receiving antenna (10). Both, the waveguides and the electronic balance are connected by means of cables to a computer. A voltmeter (18) is arranged between the waveguide and the computer and the receiving antenna (10) is connected to said voltmeter (18). The water cistern (14) is arranged as a stationary component, wherein the apparatus further comprises a baseboard (2) with a pair of guide bars (3) vertically fastened thereon, whereby a frame (4) of the electronic balance (5) is slidably arranged on said guide bars (3). The electronic balance (5) frame (4) is provided at its rear side by a screw casing. A threaded driving bar (16) mounted in an electric motor (6) is passed through said screw casing. The driving bar (16) is above freely pivoted in an upper casing (24). A communication cable (16) connects the computer (23) with the electric motor (6) and the computer (23) is connected with the radiation source (7) by a relay communication cable (21) provided with a relay (17) for switching on/off the radiation. |
