In the present invention, there is disclosed an accelerator (1) of dry ice pellets comprising a frame (2), an electric motor (4), a driving shaft (5) protruding from said electric motor (4) and a rotor (6) arranged after the driving shaft (5) and provided with acceleration channels (20), wherein on both sides of the rotor (6), there is arranged an external cover (7a, 7b) consisting of two cover disks coupled with each other by means of bolts, wherein in the rotor (6) entry, there is arranged a pellet feeder (9) provided with a radial inlet opening (10) and on the side turned towards the rotor (6) with a round connecting adapter (11), which follows up with an inlet ring with a circular inner recess (18) at the rotor (6) structured section (6a). The pellet feeder (9) radial inlet opening (10) enters an inlet open helix (12) performed in the feeder (9), whereby the distance of the open helix (12) bottom (13) from the feeder (9) base surface (14) oriented towards the electric motor (4), continuously increases and the open helix (12) terminates by an outlet (15) from the connecting adapter (11), whereby an outlet opening (15) of the connecting adapter (11) opens in the circular inner recess (18) in the rotor (6) structured section (6a). |
