<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily match the recordable number of digits, when a recording device connected to a control device is replaced, before and after the replacement, to obtain an approximate recording result. <P>SOLUTION: When receiving a character-string recording-instruction command for instructing a record of a character string from a host computer 10, a recording execution part 37 of a post-replacement printer 11 adjusts a print area width in a line where the character string is recorded, and thereby adjusting the recordable number of digits of characters based on font data in the line to record the character string on the basis of font data corresponding to the character string. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
