One aspect of the present invention provides a technology of performing desired correction without losing a personal identity in producing a portrait from a facial image. A portrait generating device includes: an image acquisition unit configured to acquire a facial image in which an object person is photographed; an image correction unit configured to generate a corrected facial image by performing correction processing on the facial image, at least a part of the face being corrected in the correction processing; and a portrait generator configured to generate a portrait of the object person using the corrected facial image.
