An engine block arrangement in a reciprocating piston internal combustion engine, the arrangement comprising an engine block (1), a cylinder liner (2) being arranged inside the engine block (1), a lubricating oil chamber (6) being arranged between the cylinder liner (2) and the engine block (1), and means (3, 4) for introducing lubricating oil into the lubricating oil chamber (6). The invention also concerns a method for preventing fretting. |
