摘要 The present invention relates to a clamping device of an electrode for electric discharge machining to allow rapid connection of the electrode to a machining tool by a small rotation having a fixing means fixated to the machining tool and provided with a rotation ring therein having a holder on which the electrode is installed to be engaged with a fixing bolt having a hemispherical head portion on a lower part of the holder capable of mounting the holder to the fixing means within a single rotation upon connecting the head portion to the rotation ring to be engaged. The clamping device comprises the holder on which the electrode is installed and the fixing means to fixate the holder to the machining tool, wherein the holder is engaged with the fixing bolt having a hemispherical head portion on a center of a lower surface of the holder; and the fixing means comprising a body to place the holder, provided with a cylindrical space therein, and provided with a cylindrical rotation ring engaged to the space to turn in place. The rotation ring is provided with an opening part on an upper part on which the head portion is engaged through the hole on the upper part of the body, formed with a projection part to stop an outer circumferential surface of the hemispherical shape of the head portion; and to stop the head portion by a rotational projection of the rotation ring within a single rotation by changing a location of the opening part and the projection part.
