PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly determine whether blood is properly flowing to the head section of a living body by the cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) or the pulsation of the heart.
SOLUTION: The impedance measuring apparatus includes drive electrodes 22 and 22, receiving electrodes 24 and 24, a detecting means 26, a process operation means 15, and a display section 11. The drive electrodes 22 and 22 are arranged in the head section of the living body, to apply an electric current. The receiving electrodes 24 and 24 are arranged in the head section, to extract signals for measuring an impedance. The detecting means 26 is used for detecting a timing when blood is ejected from the heart of the living body. The processing operation means 15 performs arithmetic processing based on the impedance acquired by the receiving electrodes 24 and 24 and the timing detected by the detecting means 26, and determines a change in impedance or effects of ejection. The display section 11 is an output means for outputting the change in impedance or the effects of ejection which has been arithmetically processed by the processing operation means 15.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
